Who we are
TracksideRacing.AI is a horse racing data analytics platform. When we refer to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy, we mean TracksideRacing.AI.
What data we collect
When you sign up to our mailing list, we collect:
- Your email address
- Your first name (if provided)
- Your IP address (for consent verification)
- The date and time you gave consent
- The consent text you agreed to
Account data
When you create an account in the application, we collect and store:
- Your email address and display name
- Your password — held by our authentication provider in hashed form; we never see or store it ourselves
- Your subscription tier, account role and account status
- Sign-up and last-login timestamps
Authentication is provided by Amazon Cognito (Amazon Web Services), acting as our data processor, with data held in the AWS eu-west-2 (London) region. Account data is retained until you delete your account — you can do this at any time from Settings inside the application, or by emailing us.
Why we collect it
We use your data to:
- Send you updates about TracksideRacing.AI, including launch news
- Verify that you consented to receive communications (legal requirement)
Our lawful basis for processing your data is your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) of UK GDPR).
How we store your data
Your data is stored in a secure database. We use Amazon Web Services as our hosting and authentication provider, acting as a data processor on our behalf. Beyond that, we do not share, sell, or transfer your personal data to any third parties. Mailing-list data is retained for as long as you remain subscribed — if you unsubscribe, it is deleted within 30 days. Account data is retained until you delete your account.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data
- Withdraw consent — unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us
How to unsubscribe or request data deletion
Every email we send contains an unsubscribe link. You can also contact us at admin@tracksideracing.ai to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data.
Complaints
If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) .
